About us. And about me.

Hi, I'm Dom. I'm building ecoTriver so nobody drives to an event alone.

Concert, festival, race: the experience doesn't start at the gate. It starts when you get into a car with people who want the same thing you do.

Where this started

I'm Dom, founder of ecoTriver. At my first Ironman, 2024.

Preparing for it, I took part in a lot of running and triathlon events and, to balance things out, in concerts and festivals too. And I kept noticing the same things: on site, I instantly get along with the people there. Same interests, often travelled far, weeks of anticipation, and the event itself is emotional.

Getting there and back, on the other hand, is almost always chaos. Especially when half the city is closed off for a marathon, or when everyone at a concert wants to drive home at the same time.

The part where everyone is together is what organizers take care of. Nobody takes care of the way there.

In 2023 I started working on a solution to exactly this problem. That became ecoTriver.

The vision

Four things that belong together.

Shared travel

Nobody drives to an event alone.

Community

You find your people on the way there, not just at the gate.

Sustainability

Fewer cars on the road, as a side effect of something that's fun.

Measurability

Measured, not estimated: impact you can show.

I'm putting to work what I bring: a background in industrial engineering with a focus on process optimization, plus experience as a software architect and in requirements management. That's how I'm building ecoTriver, myself, from Braunschweig.

Who supports me

In the accelerator since August.

In November 2025 I quit my consulting job to build ecoTriver full-time. Since August 2026 I've been part of the W.IN startup academy in Braunschweig, the accelerator program of Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH: coaching, expert advice and a network a solo founder wouldn't otherwise have. It helps exactly where I shouldn't be building alone: business model, pricing, sales.

In early September I was on stage and at the exhibitor table at the BIG UP Startup Summit in Braunschweig. If you're planning an event and looking for a talk about shared travel, write me.
