How ecoTriver plugs into your event, what it costs, and how the reporting is verified.

How does ecoTriver work for venues and festivals?
We plug into your event audience. Attendees find each other, share rides to the venue, and every shared seat produces verified CO₂-saved and contribution data. You get live dashboards, on-site reports, and audit-ready attendee-travel data for your Scope 3 reporting — typically the largest and least-tracked part of an event's footprint.
What does it cost for organisers?
Getting started is free — listing your events, the live dashboard, the embeddable ride widget, and your basic impact report all come at no cost. That's deliberate: shared rides only happen when joining costs nothing. Once your reporting is in real external use — with sponsors, partners, or your city — we have a fair renewal conversation about the reporting package. No per-event fees.
How is the CO₂ impact verified and audit-ready?
Every ride uses the UBA 2024 TREMOD factor (0.164 kg CO₂ per km), the same source German regulators use. Climate contributions are 3× one-way emissions, designed to fund Balance.eco-verified projects. The methodology is public, versioned, and aligned to GCCM007 and CSRD visitor-travel frameworks.
Which event types and regions are supported?
Concerts, festivals, sporting events, running races, and private or corporate events. Primary coverage is Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, with ongoing expansion across Europe.
How long does onboarding take?
A single event can go live the same day once we have the date, location, and ticketing link. A venue-wide setup — we import your full event calendar so every show gets its own ride page — typically takes one to two weeks.
