Samuel Ashton is a Kent-born, Canterbury-based singer-songwriter whose voice blends blues, soul and country into a modern soul sound. Influenced by artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Paolo Nutini and Leon Bridges, he released his debut EP "Spreading Light" in 2019 and has since sold out UK shows, gathered hundreds of thousands of streams and earned BBC radio play.
